We are committed to our society and our environment. That is why, from Grupo El Gaitero We collaborate with different companies, groups, associations, competitions… which demonstrate our commitment to Spanish society in general and particularly to the culture of Asturias and cider.
With these objectives, we support initiatives to promote sport through collaborations or sponsorships (canoeing, motorsports, athletics, sailing, etc.), as well as Asturian culture through our involvement with the Villaviciosa Pipe Band, the Folk Group, the Valdediós Cultural Circle, and others. We are also fully committed to the José Cardín Foundation , whose objectives are focused on the history and heritage of Asturias, its cider and apples, and, of course, the municipality of Villaviciosa.

Promoting the practice of sport in the region
The importance of sport in society is immense and takes on special significance in grassroots sport, where children learn fundamental values for their future development. With these premises in mind, from Grupo El Gaitero We have been committed to promoting sports practices from the youngest children to adulthood.
Thus, for years, we have sponsored the Villaviciosa Canoe Club – El Gaiterowith more than 50 athletes in its different categories. We support the Villaviciosa Athletics Club, Rodiles FS, to the Maliayu Basket Club y Maliayo Cycling team.
Support for traditional Asturian culture
Asturian culture above all else
The cradle of El Gaitero He resides in Asturias and his connection to it is absolutely inseparable. Therefore, if we talk about the Principality, we must mention him. Grupo El Gaitero and vice versa. This union allows us to understand the constant support that the company has been providing to the culture, traditions, and heritage of Asturias through collaboration and/or sponsorship of important initiatives such as the Support for the Cider Culture's candidacy for Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity status.
In our support for traditional Asturian culture, we cannot overlook the involvement we have maintained over the years with the Villaviciosa Bagpipe Band – El Gaitero or the Folkloric GroupFurthermore, we promote the Tazones Painting Competition and the Capilla de la Torre Choir. Since its inauguration, we have been supporting the Cider Museum, whose objective is to publicize and promote Asturian cider.

Without forgetting its main objective, which is the recovery, expansion and dissemination of the historical heritage of Valle, Ballina and Fernández; as well as paying tribute to José Cardín, the key figure in the great expansion experienced by El Gaitero at the end of the XNUMXth century.
